In February 2025, Facebook Messenger icon was modified to use a Facebook shade of blue instead of a gradient Bolt was changed to be more sharpened This was after the discontinuation of cross-chatting between Instagram messages and Messenger in mid-December 2023 The modified icon was created in-house in collaboration with Moving Brands
