On June 1, 2024, Disney Junior officially shortened its name as Disney Jr and adopted more simplified version of the original Disney Junior logo This version of the new logo consisted of just D logotype mark in Walt Disney Script and Jr wordmark in Futura Extrabold This version was submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office in January 2024 This logo began to roll out and made its first appearance with promos for the upcoming series Ariel and the stage event Disney Jr Live on Tour: Lets Play! in May 2024
