On June 1, 2024, Disney Junior officially shortened its name as Disney Jr and adopted more simplified version of the original Disney Junior logo This new logo consisted of Disney logotype mark and Jr wordmark in Futura Extrabold The original version as DJr was submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office in January 2024 This logo began to roll out and made its first appearance with promos for the upcoming series Ariel and the stage event Disney Jr Live on Tour: Lets Play! in May 2024
